Catfish Are Delicious is my debut retail album. The album's title comes from episode 11 of season 2 of the "Martin” television show. Varnell Hill (Tommy Davidson) was a celebrity guest on Martin’s radio show and Martin’s envy of Varnell was clear throughout their conversation. Varnell’s humble brag responses to Martin’s antagonizing questions were hilarious. “Catfish are delicious” was one of Varnell's responses to Martin.

The album features guest appearances from Deanna Carpenter, EP3, and New Generation. Production came from Shimi Sonic, Heartbeatz, 9Eleven Beats, Dreamlife Beats, 4Klassix, Fazman Beats, and Bluff Gawd.

I grew up in a household where HBCUs and HBCU football were celebrated. When the good people over at HBCU Gameday asked me to record a song for their No Huddle show, I immediately agreed to make it happen. This song served as the theme to the inaugural HBCU Gameday "No Huddle" show on Aspire TV. HBCU Gameday still uses the song's instrumental during its highlight packages. The Any Given Saturday music video features Benedict College's Marching Band of Distinction.
